In the first place, I don't believe "drivers education" should be in public schools.
The State shouldn't provide any funds to that program even if it is going to make
the mistake of assuming responsibility of having that kind of program. If it cannot
be a "pay as you go" program (paid for by the participants) it doesn't need to be
a burden on the total taxpayer population. If someone wants to PAY someone to
teach his/her child to drive, then they can aid our capitalist system and pay a private
person who is in that business. Otherwise, the father, uncle, brother, friend can
teach the person (or the female equivalent).
