Introduced by Rep. Steven P. Thayn (R) on January 26, 2009, to provide for parents who choose to keep their kindergarten age children at home and if that child is able to pass a post-kindergarten assessment the family and the school district will receive 1/4 of the state education disbursement and the state general fund will retain the remaining monies.
